Following are just a few examples of the many projects and assignments that Instant HR Solutions has been engaged by clients to complete.

Client:            Beliefnet

Task:               During the due diligence process for the acquisition of Beliefnet by Fox Entertainment Group, the client was required to provide job descriptions for all current positions in the company.

Result:            Instant HR Solutions gathered data and wrote 45 comprehensive job descriptions in the course of only a few days to meet the acquiring company’s deadline.  The Beliefnet acquisition was completed successfully in December 2007.

Client:            Universal Property Development & Acquisition Corporation (UPDA)

Task:               As a newly formed publicly-traded company, UPDA did not have any benefits program, policies or procedures, and was required to comply with SEC regulations.

Result:            Instant HR Solutions was engaged to build the Human Resources infrastructure, which included working with insurance brokers to develop and implement a comprehensive employee benefits plan for employees throughout the US; writing and implementing an employee handbook and travel & expense policy; writing and implementing a Code of Conduct and Insider Trading Policy as required by SEC regulations; and providing procedures and forms for ongoing sustainable compliance.

Client:            Alexandra Investment Management

Task:               New IRS regulations issued as Internal Revenue Code Section 409a required extensive overhaul of the company’s deferred compensation plan.

Result:            Instant HR Solutions partnered with executive leadership and external counsel to rewrite the plan, educate participants about the changes, execute required documentation and implement the changes in a timely manner to meet the compliance obligations under the IRS guidelines.

Client:            Intellect Resources

Task:               Recent growth in staff size necessitated the implementation of uniform policies and procedures, and a comprehensive commission structure that appropriately incentivized recruiters.  Additionally, recruiters required training to learn more about immigration issues and benefits plans so they could improve the service provided to candidates.

Result:            Instant HR Solutions was engaged to write and implement an employee handbook; develop and implement a recruiter commission structure; provide training to recruiters on the various types of immigration visas and regulations; and provide detailed explanations and training on benefits plans such as health, life, disability and retirement.
